From the Landscape Committee:

Dear Residents of Pueblo Villas,

We extend our sincere appreciation for your patience and understanding during our recent spring landscaping transformation, which unexpectedly brought forth a vibrant display of weeds and wildflowers. In our efforts to enhance the overall aesthetics and functionality of our community, we made some adjustments to our landscaping contracts, including the decision to forgo pre and post-emergence weed treatments for budget reasons. This decision was part of a broader initiative to address long-standing maintenance projects, such as clearing deadfall, trimming trees, and managing overgrown foliage.

Regrettably, we were unaware of the critical role and effectiveness of these treatments in controlling weed growth. Combined with unusually high rainfall and wind, this has led to a noticeable impact on our city and community's landscaping.

We acknowledge that there are differing opinions within our community regarding the use of herbicides, with some preferring a more natural, green aesthetic, and others desiring a cleaner, more manicured appearance. Both viewpoints are valid and appreciated. However, in the interest of maintaining visual harmony and standards, the Landscape Committee will prioritize a cleaner look for now.

We are committed to finding a balance that meets the needs and preferences of our diverse community. Your understanding and support are invaluable as we work towards enhancing the beauty and functionality of Pueblo Villas.

Thank you once again for your patience and cooperation.

Sincerely, The Landscape Committee
